Selling artwork is not just for luxury brands & you don’t need different clients!

Let me set the record straight. Selling frames and albums is not just for the luxury photographer and client. If your clients loved your work enough to hire you, then they love it enough to print it.

The trick is knowing how & when to offer products to encourage people to buy from you rather than a big box store!

LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION

WHAT IF ONE ORDERING MEETING

the modules

It might be DIY, but it’s nothing short of everything you need. I’ve included (and continue to add) all the nitty-gritty details. There’s no stone left unturned.

MODULE 1

EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Let's get ready to sell products! This module serves as an overview of what you will be setting up throughout the course. I will walk you through everything you will need ready to sell products with ease. No fumbling around trying to "figure it out" when you have a client ready to design a beautiful family wall or heirloom album. You will be ready, polished and professional. In this module, we also get you started with sales tax (promise, it's really not that hard).

MODULE 2

CHOOSE A PRICING MODEL

There's no one perfect way to model your prices. Whether you choose to offer all-inclusive packages with products, meet with your clients over Zoom, or host meetings in their home to offer a la carte products, the most important part is having a model you are excited about. Learn the three methods I've used, which one is my personal preference, and how to be successful no matter which you choose.

MODULE 3

SELECTING QUALITY PRODUCTS

In this module you will learn all about products from albums and frames to darling add-ons. Watch as I share with you exactly which products I offer as well as a comprehensive list of other options for you to consider. Choose the products that showcase your work and style in the most beautiful way.

MODULE 4

SET PRODUCT PRICES & PACKAGES

How you price and package your products is as important as the icing on a cake. Pricing needs to be profitable and packages need to be no-brainers for your clients to purchase. In this module you will calculate your product prices and craft enticing packages. Included in this module are Canva brochures, so you can plug in your pricing and start sending to clients right away. Added bonus: The Pricing Workshop is included in this course!

MODULE 5

PRODUCT DETAILS & ORDERING

Now that you have chosen your products, it's time to learn all the details about ordering to ensure you don't make expensive mistakes. In this module, I will walk you through important framing details, ordering through my two favorite vendors, and how to work with a local framer. We also review how to export album designs and place an order with my two preferred album vendors.

MODULE 6

THE SECRET SAUCE TO SUCCESSFUL SELLING

You have your pricing set, brochures created, and samples on order. Now it's time to start offering products to your clients. But there's this one simple step that so many people undervalue. Learn the secret to selling products and getting all of your clients excited about your new offer.

MODULE 7

DESIGNING ARTWORK IN FUNDY

People buy what they can see, which is why product samples are so important. But you will also want to show your clients their images inside thoughtfully designed albums and wall art. Fundy is my go-to for quickly (like minutes!) designing samples for clients to view. In this module, I take you step-by-step using Fundy exactly as I do for every product order.

MODULE 8

THE ORDERING MEETING

In this module, I teach (and show you!) my ordering meeting workflow (including all the language I use) to guide my clients through a sale. You will see two ordering meetings in person (in studio & a clients home) and one over Zoom. After this module you will know how to show up polished and professional so your clients are confident and excited about buying from you!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUICK Q

  • This course is for any professional portrait photographer who has established a business and ready to offer products. If you are ready, but nervous on how to set your prices, create packages, find quality vendors, order products without making expensive mistakes and want to learn how to use Fundy as a portrait photographer, then this course is for you.

  • The course is broken down into 8 parts and has a total viewing length of approximately 3 hours. You can watch the entire course in one day or break it down into the modules, completing tasks as you go.

  • You will need:

    • A Fundy account

    • A gallery account to deliver digital files such as Pixieset of PicTime.

    • An invoicing system such as Quickbooks or your scheduler. Many students use 17hats, Acuity or Honeybook.

    • Product samples: I recommend starting with just one of each product such as one album and one framed piece.

    • Sales tools from all vendors: frame corners and album cover swatches.

  • Part of this course is The Pricing Workshop where you learn about the real numbers driving your business. During this section you will figure out exactly what you need to earn on each session. Some photographers decide to raise their smallest package offer to meet this financial need, while others are able to simple add products to their current offering.

  • All modules are provided in an online account. You will have unlimited access for the lifetime of the course.

  • There are a variety of ways to work with me:

    • Feel free to email me with specific questions about the course.
