I would walk over to the crib, unwrap the swaddle and enjoy all the wake up stretches just before nuzzling them in between my shoulder and neck to breathe in that gorgeous warm scent. Oh, these days do go by in a hurry. Those little moments are still with me though.

Unless it's my children, who think of themselves as lap dogs still at ages 9, 12 and 14. But I suffer through the squishing happily, because I miss these tiny people days.
